The textbooks have yet to written, but given the outcry of so many questionable organizations one can only assume that Texas is on the right track. At the end of the day I can truly say that I have no idea, at least until reading a finished product, if the Texas State Board of Education served the school children of Texas. Are our current history books severely skewed? You bet. Using the logic that if our current history books are failing school children, then how bad can the new history books be? Kudos to Texas is fighting to make changes and I look forward to seeing if actual history is put in the text books, or rather if we just shifted from a hardcore left wing version of history to an equally and polar opposite hardcore right wing version. I pray factual history and ultimately our children were the winners of this most recent fight.
