Thinking or going through a divorce or separation involving your children. Keep in mind that in a divorce child custody situation there is not a winner. It is simply a matter of how badly your children will loose and to what degree they will loose. Divorce often times is also not the end of conflict. How many divorced couples do you know with children that actually get along? Some divorced couples tend to say they get along, but it’s more like a quiet storm and they are not only trying to fool you but themselves. If you search on the internet you will easily find all kinds of studies explaining the negative impacts on children and at this point I’m not aware of one positive impact that divorce provides for children. Abusive relationships are a whole other issue and the above does not apply.
Divorce will hurt your kids and I urge you to make your decision regarding divorce accordingly.
