My son starts at elementary this coming Monday, entering Kindergarten. Why does a part of me feel sad? Don’t get me wrong that I’m also excited and proud that my little boy is taking another step to becoming an adult. Starting public school has me feeling that my little boy of yesterday who was teetering through the house and saying, “Da Da” is gone for good. Am I going to sob like an infant this Monday when I take him to his classroom?. No idea, but knowing me I most likely will.
