An entire school dedicated to "Pubic" hair?

This photo really says it all in regards to the condition of the public school system in South Bend Indiana.  Maybe Indiana should adopt the state of Oregon's policy to allow students to use their computers spell check.... on spelling test.  Oh wait, spell check would not have caught this error.

Lord help our children.

  1. The sad thing is it's not in an article or flyer it's up on a HUGE sign where the word "pubic" is about 8 feet wide and 3 feet high. Don't these printing companies have proof readers? Sadly we have Houston Chronicle and KHOU.com as prime examples of poor proof reading. Typos all over the place.

  2. I would imagine the list of eyes who proofed this and ultimately approved this is actually very long.
If I was at the printing company I would have put it up as is to help show the severe problem with public school system.
Is the Houston Chronicle still in business? I have not seen one in awhile.
